Majority acquisitions · United Kingdom
The next chapter of a business you spent years building.
We buy majority stakes in profitable UK companies with £250k–£1m of EBIT. The name stays. The team stays. You leave on a date you choose.
01 — What we buy
Four sectors we already understand.
Automotive
Servicing, parts distribution, bodyshops and dealer groups.
Logistics
Warehousing, third-party logistics, specialist freight.
Transport
Commercial fleet, coach and passenger operators.
Engineering
Precision manufacturing, fabrication, maintenance contracts.
Every exit has its own reasons. A shareholder ready for a change, a business that has grown past its current structure, a team with more ahead of it than behind. Whatever the reason, the conversation starts the same way.
02 — How it works
A conversation
One call, no forms. We tell you quickly whether it is a fit.
An offer you can read
A one-page indicative offer with the funding named.
Diligence that respects the team
Six weeks, partner-led, minimal disruption to trading.
After completion
The name stays. The team stays. We are in the business monthly.
In the seller's words
I wanted to know what happened to the people on the shop floor. That was the whole conversation.
03 — What happens next
We buy businesses that already work.
Will you break the business up?
No. We are buyers of well-run companies, not of parts. There is no asset strip, no forced merger, no relocation. If the business works, our job is to leave the things that make it work alone.
What happens to the staff?
They stay. The people who built the business are the reason we are buying it. We do not arrive with a restructuring plan or a list of redundancies — the team you hand over is the team we want.
Who runs it once I have gone?
Wherever we can, the people already there. We would rather promote a manager who knows the customers and the floor than parachute someone in. Where a genuine gap exists we will hire into it, and we will say so early.
What about my customers and suppliers?
Contracts and commitments are honoured as written. Relationships you have spent years building are part of what we are paying for; renegotiating them on day one would be an odd way to protect that.
So what actually changes?
We add where it fits and not where it does not: capital for equipment or headcount, better reporting, introductions, help with the things that were always on the list and never got done. Change is proposed with the management team, not announced to it.
Does the name stay?
Yes. The name over the door is an asset with decades of goodwill in it. It stays, and so does the culture the name stands for.
04 — Contact
Start with a conversation.
Nothing you tell us leaves the two of us. If it is not a fit we will say so on the first call.
